FRUSTRATED!

Wednesday, July 11, 2012

Last week I hurt my neck/shoulder & took it easy. Monday I was feeling SO MUCH BETTER that I decided to go to Zumba but I'd take it easy. Well, it felt wonderful to move & although I didn't give it 110% like I usually do ~ it was too hot. I did give it, you know, like 90%. Needless to say, when I went to the chiropractor for neck pain & a headache on Tuesday, there were more adjustments instead of less & they were the same ones I needed last week. It seems I re-aggregated the injury. I'm so bummed.

She did say that I can do Zumba, but any moves where you lift your arms higher than shoulder level were out.

I hate this. I wish I could *?do something* & it would magically be healed right NOW!

My weight is up a little. I don't even feel like exercising. This just sucks.

I'm done ranting. I got stuff to do today.

Hi there, hang tough and take care of yourself instead of pushing through the pain. Isn't it funny how addictive exercise is?? I found myself having hip pain on Monday, so I decided instead of running on the treadmill I would walk....well, I hurt myself so badly that I could barely even move, let alone make dinner, laundry, etc....that little foolish 1/2 hour cost me BIG....I should have listened to my body and taken a rest day! Stay well!

Take Care of yourself! At least you can still do Zumba or maybe even going for walks would make you feel better. My weight is up too, since camping & vacationing, but I'm back on track this week. Don't get discouraged, everything will get better. emoticon emoticon

Take care of yourself - it won't be long before you will be able to do everything again.
