I took my car for service today which took a little more than 3 hours. At the end of the 1st hour, I went for a walk. I walked across the street to Ollie’s where I found the Special K Dark Chocolate Protein Shakes for $3.99 and the Designer Whey Protein bars (12 bars in the box) for $6.99. I love a good bargain!
After lunch I went to the gym and walked on the treadmill. I’m having a problem with the treadmill and I’m not sure how to describe it. If I’m walking on in the neighborhood or at the college’s fitness trail or even the Battlefield, I can walk 3 or 4 miles no problem. But the minute I step on the treadmill I get bored and I can’t stand more than ½ hour of it. I’m listening to music and watching what ever is on the TV, but it’s hard to get past the boredom. I truly missed my Step class this am.
Unfortunately, I gained 1 ½ pounds this week. I know I need to get back to writing down my food intake. I didn’t get all my shakes or my vegetables/fruits in last week. Normally I walk in addition to attending the group classes but I didn’t walk at all last week. All of these are fixable!!
