The wedding issue

Tuesday, July 10, 2012

I can't decide which pictures to use so I'll put a few of them up somewhat randomly. We had a great wedding, and it was nice to have the larger family together. We got one really awesome shot of the whole family together on the steps.

I barely lost any weight before my wedding, but I lost inches! Lie two inches off the top, and then a few more in the last 2 weeks before the wedding. Ladies, the number on the scale means nothing when the clothes start hanging off of you. Do not let the scale determine your happiness. I wanted to cry when the number did not budge because I thought it meant I wasn't getting smaller. It wasn't until I accidentally put on my skinny pants that I realized there were other number going down besides the scale.

This was on my way to the little chapel. It's probably my favorite of me.

You did yourself proud, girl!! You look stunning! And I'm not just saying that for the sake of it. I can see from the stars in your eyes, that it was THE perfect day. I hope you remember it and all the little things that went on that day, for a long, long, time.

As for the scale, I've known this for ever. We are not judged by the # on the scale. No one but us knows it. Given a choice of a great number on the scale or taking up less space, I would pick space every time. emoticon
