Most Wired Wogger Award!

Monday, July 09, 2012

I must be the most wired wogger out there. I have my phone attached to my right arm, complete with headphones so I can hear my music and run away from zombies. On my upper left arm I have my Body Bugg. I have been living with this thing attached to my arm for 15 weeks now and it feels like a part of me. On my left wrist I strap on the garmin Forerunner - bought years ago for my husband but he never uses it. It seems a little silly - I am not some super runner. But I am really attached to all of these devices. I love having my zombies run application and music for entertainment, I want to know how far I have run and my pace as I am running, and - well the Body Bugg lives on me.

Today it was cloudy and cooler and this wired wogger went for a 10 mile run. The sun came out around mile 9 and really started to take my energy out of me. I finished in 2:02:36 - so just over 12 minute mile pace. Not bad. My HM is August 11th. I feel like I will do fine. Like I said, I am not fast. Just wired!

Have a great week!

Ahhh, you're my hero and a kindred spirit! I'm just waiting for the day I can get a USB connection directly into my brain (or better yet Wi-Fi) and a heads-up display like Ironman to monitor everything.

I love my gadgets, too. I'm not FAST, but I like to have my 'stuff' with me when I'm out so I can track what I'm doing. And after two years of using a bodybugg/BodyMedia FIT, my arm feels naked without it!

Well, you're still stopping short of having them implanted, so I THINK you're alright.
