Missing my Workouts and an Esteem Boost

Soooooo, it’s only been too long since my last blog. What has been going on?
I’m currently down about 35 pounds since March of 2012 and feeling pretty good- at least most days. Today, I have a sore throat, I’m PMSing and I missed a Zumba workout during the week due to family stuff and will miss another one due to work stuff tomorrow. With all my feelings of icky-nes, it is my workouts that I am missing most right now.
I popped in a Julian Michael’s DVD to try to make up for my missed time, though it just wasn’t the same- and it felt more like “exercise” that what I prefer.
Regardless, I was proud of finding some way to get in some cardio. Typically, I would hop on the elliptical, though I recently broke it.
Uh, yeah. You heard that right. I broke the darn thing.
How’s that for an esteem boost? To be elliptical-ing and BREAK THE MACHINE! I think I would feel worse if this had happened at the beginning of my fitness journey, though since I know I’m on the right track, I’m blaming this on defunk equipment- not me and NOT my weight or my body.
I need to call Sears’ repair or start reading up on elliptical fly wheels and belts and digging out the screwdrivers.
Julian’s not so bad, though I much prefer using the elliptical or, or course, my Zumba.
