Staying on track while I'm away from home

I’m out of town and you know how that goes. I’m doing the best I can. I took my Mom to a local produce place and we stocked up on lots of fresh veggies and fruit - great prices too! I made 2 birthday cakes yesterday and didn't have a lick! Whew, so my motivation is still running high. I do recognize that I am not even tempted which makes me feel good and strong too. I am trying to eat the best I can where ever I go...it is a little challenging at times. I bring apples with me everywhere, just in case. Sometimes if I get stuck out somewhere, I just try to make the best possible choice.
My Dad has been a good fitness buddy for me. I have a few walking buddies here. I’m walking daily – over the last few days, I’ve been walking with my Mom. It's nice to have a buddy.
I'm actually doing pretty well here. The fridge is well stocked with healthy food. I'm eating healthy and walking daily. I did advise my parents of my plans ahead of time. My Mom likes to keep cookies on hand, so I've just asked if we put them away after they have a snack vs. them staying out of the counter all day. That is helpful.
Asking for support - physically and emotionally, filling the fridge with healthy food, making healthy choices, identifying triggers and providing solutions as well as having a walking buddy have all set me up for success while I'm away.
