My 4th of July

Yesterday my son and I went to the gym to work out. This is one of the machines we used.
I did 20 of the leg lifts like the guy in the picture is doing. I had to do them 5 or 6 reps. , stop for few seconds, then do next set of 5 or 6. I really need to work more on my upper arm strength. I've been doing crunches in the pool, so the leg lifts were a cinch my arms just couldn't hold up.
So, my son gets on there and whips off 20 like he's floating on air.
Then we went to the chin up bar. ....We won't even go there LOL! It was pathetic. My feet came off the floor....only because I lifted them up, NOT because I did a chin up.
We spotted each other on the other weight lifting. He taught me something new....and I taught him some.
Then we came home and played in the sprinkler. Both of my kids are bean poles. My son wasn't paying any attention so his sister pulled his over size shorts straight off him. Good thing he had boxers on under them. He got her back...lucky for her she had a really long shirt on.
Such a great way to spend the day.
