Wow it is not here! We are in Charleston SC. Woke up early to get out for my run. I was so lucky where we are staying we are right beside Charleston Southern University. It has paved roads all around the school & no traffic & even some shade areas to run around. It was perfect! I made 3 loops around which gave me 40 minutes. So proud of me & my husband planning our meals to take on the road with us. We ate a healthy breakfast which the hotel supplied. They had a full breakfast bar but we both choose fruit & yogurt. (boy those waffles looked soooo good!) We went to walmart when we arrived in town late yesterday afternoon to get our can tuna & chicken, fresh fruit, lots of water, almonds, hummus & wheat saltine crackers. We usually eat out every meal & eat things we really shouldn't. I am so proud of both of us for staying on track & making this our new lifestyle now. It does take a little more planning when you go out of town but you are worth it!
We are eating our dinners out & last night we both ordered fish & steamed veggies & salad. Passed on the delicious looking bread basket & ordered no dessert! That is a big deal for us! We both feel so much better since we have been making better healthy choices. We have more energy, no heartburn, & just feel like we could go all day long! I am so happy with the change & so thankful the Lord has blessed us with a healthy body! I am so thankful everyday!
