I'm Crooked: It's Embarrassing and Disgusting.

In 2 years I have put on roughly 30 pounds. Prior to that it took me about 2 years to put on 10. So, in 4 years = 40 lbs. Average 10lb a year seems to be typical as you get older BUT not 30 in 2.

I am working with my DR on this problem. Hence, the need for the dietitian. Other diets have not helped. I just keep gaining. We are trying to get to the bottom of it.

That weight gain has my body hurting worse than ever. I know the osteoarthritis and degenerative disk disease don't help. The weight is making it worse. And, its making my body mad at me.

Anyway, I am lazy and I don't want to type twice, plus Google won't give me love for duplicate content.

    Embarrassing? Disgusting? No need to be so judgmental. It is what it is. It's a physical problem, not a character flaw.

    Scared? Worried? Totally understandable. I would take GLC's advice and ditch the wheat. Your body will cry out in joy! You'd be surprised at what a negative affect it has on so many bodily systems.

    I know you said in an earlier blog that you don't much like fat, but consider taking coconut oil supplements if you can't make yourself eat it plain. Medium chain triglycerides (MCT's) are starting to look like the wonder drugs of the obesity epidemic:

    that isn't something to take lightly. get an appt with a specialist asap. in the meantime if walking hurts try something else. swimming would probably be good or bike riding.
    another thing regarding body pain. do you eat wheat? i stopped eating wheat in january and noticed a huge relief in my body pain. actually, 2 things. i quit eating artificial sweeteners which lessened the body pain and then quitting wheat really helped. i am almost pain free now, except for stupid ankle. and, of course the couple of joints that already are immobile due to arthritis, they'll never bend again, but, they hurt alot less.

    hi love.should i say welcome to the club or not.i donĀ“t have osteoarthritis but i am crooked,lol.i was born with what they call an s spine or curviture of the spine but of late it has been giving me lots of problems with my left arm and elbow.i have physio theraphy and fango twice a week every tuesday and wednesday as well as being given exercises to do every day several times a day.aparently it is coming from the top of my spine in the neck and the spine is degenerateing.i have an appointment with the orthiopedic on monday.will let you know what he says but you should definetly get it checked.weather they can do anything about the degeration that has already occured is debateable but they can stop or slow it down with pt.please she an orthepedic love.take care and hang in there. emoticon emoticon emoticon
