A blog overdue.. (I need help with travel tips)

To Start off it is not long until my trip overseas now. I have roughly 7 weeks to go.... That has flown....
I have my dress which is beautiful but I am not looking like I wanted to in it. I am a little pudgy in the tummy and my arms arent as toned as I would like and neither is the back (bit of back fat going on.) So it is my mission for the next 7 weeks to correct these flaws. I am using turbo fire as well as running. I have started doing the sculpt and tone dvd as I can feel every muscle has been worked after using that one. My arms especially. I also am enjoying running again. It is cold here so it takes some pushing to get me out the door but once I start I am invigorated. The first time I went last week I hadn't run for months and I thought I would do my favorite run which is "the mount" It is a local race track (for cars) and it is steep. Any way I walk up (run a little bit of it upwards) and it is brisk walk. I was going up and I turned and saw these two women behind me any way I made it my mission that they were not going to get passed me. They didn't I left them for dead. I got to the top and then ran. Ran ran.... I felt it as I hadn't run in quite some time but man it felt good.
Now I am after some travel advice...
Does any one have any tips for me for plane travel, packing what to pack necessities to take etc....
I will be flying from Sydney to Abu Dhabi, (2 hour wait there) then onto Heathrow (8 hour wait there) then onto Reykjavik (get in at 12 am)
I have never travelled overseas before and need all the advice I can get.
I am going to Iceland, london, cotswolds for the wedding, Dublin 3 days then drive Ireland 9 days then onto Paris then to Munich for octoberfest.
Cotswolds and Barnsley house (where the wedding is.)
