Cleaning out closet and drawers....

Monday, July 02, 2012

Time to pass on clothes that are too big and won't wear again. I worked on that Sunday and filled 2 large leaf bags of stuff. Some things I had forgotten I had. Anyway, as I cleared out the no longer useful things... it seemed to clear out things on my mind as well. I also found a few treasures that now fit that hadn't seen the light of day in a while. Anyway it was a peaceful and rewarding thing to do. I also bought myself a brand new matress set. It's been a long time coming. I hope that the new matress is the answer to my broken sleep. It is a reward for me and I am very excited to get it. Hope you all have a great week. emoticon

Sometimes, the stuff we do (or don't do) becomes very significant because of where we are today...

Ensuring you create a bit of me time is something only the nicest of people struggle with...

So enjoy the struggle, and keep creating the space you need for you...

And thanks for stopping by... +Mark

Good for you! I plan to be doing that next spring when I plan to be down to my target weight. A good way to spend your day!

It does feel great to clear out the no-longer-fitting clothes--& other unneeded things too. Just this morning I carried two big bags over to my church for a benefit yard sale. A chunk of it was X's stuff that he had left behind--so good to get it out of my house!

I love doing that process too!! I still get really hesitant to getting rid of the too big clothes, but have to get past that. My favorite part is finally fitting into things I've been hanging on to! Go you!!

Hope you have a great day!

I bet it felt amazing to fit into the lost treasures that you found and purging yourself of clothes that are to big now. I hope you start getting a good nights sleep from now on.
