Another good day ...

I'm still surprised that I'm still going strong after an entire week. But, here I am. I lost a total of 7 1/2 lbs this week! I'm psyched! Went up to my Mom's apartment building (apartments for seniors and disabled) and cut and colored hair for a few hours. They are all on limited incomes, so I go up about once a month or two to cut hair for free. They are SO appreciative. Getting ready to run out to Wal-Mart to see what I can get for this week's meals ... and then I'm going out for an early dinner with my Mom. SHE wanted to go to Long John Silvers. I LOVE fish, but, honestly, can you imagine the calories?!? I talked her into going to a local diner. I should be able to get something much more healthier there. Not sure if I'm going to be able to get back out on my bike today ... hopefully later on. But, my tires need air. My son has a machine to put air in the tires (I have NO idea how to work it) and he went out for the day. Hopefully he'll get back early enough. If not, I'll have to see about going out tomorrow before work (I work 2nd shift) ... before it gets too hot. I think, though, that being on my feet for a couple of hours cutting and coloring hair AND going out shopping should count for SOMEthing! LOL Besides, the heat and humidity is horrible today. But, I'm ready and rarin' to go! Gotta check out the bike equipment while I'm out shopping. emoticon emoticon Seriously, I need to find a pool ... LOVE to swim ... great exercise and a terrific way to cool off!
