What to do I have to lose this weight and it is so hard I cook food for my family every day and I love to cook and eat. But my knees are bad and I need them replaced and I have had four back surgerys

    Take the smallest of steps and you will get there. One day, one bite, one meal at a time, but you WILL get there!

    Small steps will do it - don't worry about the long distant future - set yourself small goals, think of just one day at a time and celebrate when you reach a goal. There is a heap of information and support here on SP - let others support and give encouragement. If you have one day, or one meal, when you eat healthy and right portion size, feel really good about it and use that one small step to encourage you to the next small step. Keep tracking and you will get there. Hang on in there friend

    Baby steps - drink your water, track your food and your exercise. Can you get a trainer to help you find exercise that doesn't hurt your knees? emoticon
