Four Weeks In

So here I am, a month into this new plan, which involves a lot of tracking and yes, a certain amount of effort. Keeping the calories within an average of about 1500 and it appears that I've lost maybe a pound, pound and a half in a month. Not to complain too hard, since the weight *is* down. But with as much calorie cutting as I've done, I should be down at least 3 pounds.
On the other hand, it's possible that with weighing in only one time each week, I'm sometimes hitting "high" weight days. Last week it was starting to look like that -3 pound mark would hit, then I had one day when I went over 2000 calories, and suddenly I'm up a pound and a half from that? It's just not possible for that to be fat weight, and yet it's persisted for 4 days. So we'll see.
