Four Weeks In

Tuesday, June 26, 2012

So here I am, a month into this new plan, which involves a lot of tracking and yes, a certain amount of effort. Keeping the calories within an average of about 1500 and it appears that I've lost maybe a pound, pound and a half in a month. Not to complain too hard, since the weight *is* down. But with as much calorie cutting as I've done, I should be down at least 3 pounds.

On the other hand, it's possible that with weighing in only one time each week, I'm sometimes hitting "high" weight days. Last week it was starting to look like that -3 pound mark would hit, then I had one day when I went over 2000 calories, and suddenly I'm up a pound and a half from that? It's just not possible for that to be fat weight, and yet it's persisted for 4 days. So we'll see.

You may want to double-check your caloric input. We have a tendency to under-estimate what it is that we put into out bodies. Hang tough!!

Great work on your weight loss!! I know it isn't the number you were hoping for - but any loss is great!!! Our bodies are so complex - it's so hard to find the exact route you need to take for personal success. All I know is emoticon + emoticon or anything that gets you moving = emoticon

    Keep up the hard work!!!
