Keeping Busy = Being Tired

Laser tag is fun.

I played for the first time yesterday and I had a blast. In addition to being fun, it's also quite the workout. We played for about half an hour and I was exhausted by the end which was surprising because you weren't allowed to run. All that crouching and sneaking and excitement was pretty crazy.

Plus, it was fun!

It was my little brother's 25th birthday and we did this as a surprise party. Since he's friends with Yoda, Yoda was also there but didn't play laser tag because he was at work and got there just after our games started. He stuck around afterward as we all visited though. I was reassured that he and I are okay.

That makes me feel a lot better. I was worried that I'd really hurt his feelings with some of the things I'd said (which were all true, but I said them in a harsh way). I think I mentioned that in my last blog....

Anyway, I did really well. The place we played laser tag at also has a lot of arcade games plus a food area. Everyone else ordered pizza. I've been craving pizza for days but I didn't order any. I drank some water and then decided that I'd have a bite of someone's pizza. I ended up eating two bites, but now the craving is gone and I didn't go crazy so I feel really good about that.

Also, I've decided that I'm a binge eater and that I do this mostly when I'm alone. I stick to a diet pretty well when others are around, but if I'm alone and end up giving in to a craving (or sometimes just eating dinner) I over eat by a lot. I haven't done that this week, though. I've made conscious decisions to keep myself from that. Even if it is healthy food, too much is still not good for me.

I was supposed to get up early a go to the gym today. Tuesday and Thursday are my two-a-day gym visits. I didn't get to sleep until 1am though, so I opted to switch two-a-days to Wednesday and Thursday. Sometimes a girl needs some sleep!

I know, a boring blog from me today but I'm just kind of exhausted. Between the family campout this weekend, workouts, my killer sunburn (that made my forehead swell, by the way), laser tag, and lack of sleep I just have no energy and it's hard to focus.

Don't worry. I'll post something awesome tomorrow.

I had to catch up because I haven't been on SP in about a month. So, I didn't comment on those even though I have to say, they have been your usual AWESOME blogs that I have LOVED every second of reading! I swear, I can never just start over from your most recent... I have to read every single one I've missed. I agree with everyone else, I have never read a "boring" blog on your page! If you turned this collection of blogs into a book, or actually ever wrote any book, I'd buy it right away.

Your last one had me going for a second with your title. I'm glad you and Yoda are ok now. I'm glad that even though you were upset, you still told Yoda, "No" when he offered to find you another trainer. I think if you two really did break up I would probably cry. Plus, he's obviously more good than bad for you!

Good luck with your competition too! I know you can lose 20lbs faster! Kick his hot fireman BUTT! Lol, you got this!

Yeah, you never have a boring blog.

How is the competition going with the fireman friend? You kicking his ass yet?

There is no such thing as a boring blog from you!! :) I'm glad you had so much fun celebrating your brother's birthday! And that you and Yoda are good. The truth is so hard to hear, even when put in the best of ways. Being close with people has it's hard moments like that, I totally sympathize with that right now.

I've never played laser tag but heard it's a blast. Might have to give it a try now. Glad to hear Yoda and you are ok. When I read your blogs I giggle a little inside every time I read Yoda.
