Yesterday goal's were met! Yes, I was determined and surprisely easy for me.
DH drove the whole time with me beside him. I was able to seat in back of mini van for a few hours where I watched DVD with the kids (they were in middle row) while I did scissor crosses with my legs and arms followed by other "chair" exercises. When I got to the hotel in VA, the family and I went to the pool. And I did laps, already lost what I gain from swimming last summer, tread water and frolic with the kids and DH. I was in the pool for over 2 hours. Surprisingly it felt good, in fact it help with the cramp driving sitting position a lot.
Even nutrition went well, I eat two breakfast one at 4am which consisted of half an avocado and some cheese than at 9:30am went to Mc Death's (Mickey D's) and had a fruit n nut oatmeal and finally my coffee with cream. I packed yogurt and breast of chicken on a small whole wheat bun for both DH and me for lunch. I only ate the sandwich. I did have a hand full of dark chocolate covered almonds...yum. Dinner, well, was a challenge. We did not want to drive anywhere so we ate at the resturant walking distanst from hotel. Cracker Barrel. I see it all the time when we go for these long drives. This time we actually did more than look. It was real cute. Country store with a country resturant. This was tough on me but I think I did okay. No I did not track it. I tried ordering veggies but even veggies were up there in calories. I had chicken and dumplings, with a side of fried okra, cole slaw and potato cassorole, it came with bisquits and corn muffins. I ate less than half of the Ch n Dp, almost ate all of everything else but opt to take back to hotel the corn mufffins. I love corn muffins so there was no way I was leaving them. They may well be my mid-day meal today.
Overall I did the better than I did in the past. Did I do my best? Well, under the circumstance maybe. What do you think?
