So what did I do to mark the milestone of 50 pounds lost?
A little bit of everything. I hiked yesterday and today. Today's hike was longer and more steep hills. Really broke in my new boots! I am sore but feel great that I did it! Last night I made pizza using a store bought crust. I haven't had one in sooo long. But- It wasn't as missed as I thought it was. It was a great tasting pizza! But if I had used the cauliflower pizza crust recipe instead of the store bought, I would have save almost 100 calories per slice (I had two) and loads of carbs! I think the cauliflower crust tastes great- so now I know! I am having friends over and I am making a lower fat seafood Alfredo. I may imbibe with a glass of wine at dinner too!
I am hitting the trails again in the morning so, enjoying the outdoors, cooking a bit out of the norm, and hanging with friends! That's how I savored this mark. Now - onward to the next 50!
