I have gone back and forth on whether to write blogs here on Sparkpeople. My main reason for not writing blog posts here is that I have a blog on wordpress (learningwithliz.com) and felt that was sufficient. I have since though decided that I would like to start blogging here as this can be a place to write about my journeys with food and exercise. So here it begins!
I have battled with being overweight for most of my adult life. I am lucky in that I have never been more than 25 pounds over my target, but still 25 pounds is a lot of excess to carry around every day. I have used Weight Watchers on and off for the last 7 years and have made lifetime, but have gained back some of the weight. As of mid April I have gone back to WW along with Sparkpeople. I have just in the last month though been going weekly regularly. I love Sparkpeople and the community, but I need the accountability of having someone else weigh me in. In 6 more pounds, I can get that accountability for free!! Motivation there!
I can say that losing weight is much easier for me during Summer when the fruits and vegetables are much more appetizing! So here is to losing weight and keeping it off once and for all!!
