I moved in March this year. What a job that was for me! Burned many calories-- packing, sorting, planning what to keep and what to give away. What a big job! I found things I forgot I had. I downsized from a large condo to a ranch condo. Not as much space, so had to give up lots of "stuff" and amazing how much time it took. After moving, a few weeks later, I was really excited and happy about how well things were all going and most of my boxes (160, total I think...lol) had been unpacked, well at least half of them.

With now having two knee replacements my dr. recommended living on one floor to me, several times. I finally got my wish and love my new place.

This dream did become reality!
Well, thinking positive I planned on getting back to the gym in my routine, which I was out of --with all the packing and moving that needed attention, for awhile. So, guess what? You never know what can happen in a split second. I broke two ribs (9 wks. ago) , going up to my loft with a few light objects, when I decided to step down and backed into the post on my left side of my ribs, Ouch!! ER had to see me + look at my ribs, ex-rays, catscan, etc. and told me 8 weeks with no lifting or doing anything strenous + no lifting anything heavy, etc. )-: Well, needless to say, that was not in my plan.
Well, not much I could do but listen. So, my kids came and helped with a few important things as I needed them done. (-: Have great kids! I told myself it could have been worse and had to accept and plan this time. So, I did things that I could and watched lots of movies from the library and read some good mysteries.
Gradually now that my healing is almost back to normal, I have been going through
more boxes and getting things done again. We will be hanging up all my pictures this week, thanks goodness. So, go slow and take your time doing things dear Spark friends!! Making things happen our way when some things interfere can slow us down. Be positive I tell myself and all will get done. Time is a gift and planning on
healthy active days is a must. To succeed and reach goal for lifetime I will do this!

I will make this dream come true to become "healthy for life" by my good choices and positive thinking. One day at a time I am moving toward my goals and know I can do it!

I am happy and excited since today I am back to the gym and can hardly wait.

Decisions and choices are up to us! No one can do it for us. I know I will succeed and be determined to get back on track. Life throws up many punches along the way! Deciding how to handle it is what gets us through things. Be positive and keep smiling. Spark is a wonderful tool to help and can change lives. Thanks for being here dear Spark friends and also thanks for Spark.com
hugs and smiles, Irish Ei
