Day 8: The pleasure of stopping

Yay! I'm in the 160s again. My goal is to weight between 160 and 165, which is at the top of my BMI range...soI'm close!
I'm discovering that simply STOPPING is part of my path to success! I can eat a piece of cake and then STOP. I can eat a piece of pizza and then STOP. I can have a lifesaver and then STOP. I can have a bit of honey in my tea and STOP.
In fact, I can even enjoy time between eating until I get hungry again. It's like breathing in and breathing out...it's not so good to breathe in all the time! :)
This "stopping" business is not such a miracle to those who never struggled with overeating, but for me, it's an astonishing and I'm quite enjoying it.
I have not been tracking for the last two days because I was getting a little crazy about it. I will likely start again, just out of curiosity and to keep myself honestly appraised of how many calories are in various food items, but for right now, I am not tracking.
I'm doing pretty well on keeping up with exercise...although could stand to amp up my heart rate a bit more and put some more reps into my weights...but all in all, it's okay for now.
