Trying something new for the next 30 days!

Monday, June 18, 2012

Starting tomorrow I'm going to try something new for myself.

I've always had "to love myself unconditionally" as a goal. I've come a long way in this honestly. However, I'm still struggling with finding things to love about myself.

My birthmom once told me that she used to journal three things a day that she liked about herself. Nothing extensive, just listing them out. She told me they started fairly superficial and as time went on it got a little deeper.

I know it seems pretty vain but if I can't identify things that I like about myself, how can I expect to love myself?

So for the next 30 days I'm going to blog every day a list of three things (big or little) that I like about myself that day. They will probably overlap occasionally but if I like something about it, I'm going to write it down!

Bear with me :)

Awww the words "birthmom" snagged me for at least 5 minutes.. hmmmm. I love that you took something from her and are expanding on it for YOU. Good for you! You should love yourself no matter what, because (in my humble opinion) you are super awesome :D I love this idea! You go girl! XO

I think that is a fantastic idea.
I may need to steal that idea as loving myself unconditionally is something that I struggle with as well. I can wait to hear how it goes for you.
    Thanks for sharing!
