I'm going to count the fact that I *stopped* eating as a success, even though I went over my calories for the day.
Here's another thing I need to remember: I suspect I would get along just fine on this pattern of eating:
Very substantial lunch around 11 or 11:30 a.m. -- That's when I'm hungry!!
Very light dinner
The problem I ran into was that I didn't plan for a trip for an appointment... I ate a modest breakfast and thought I would eat lunch when I came back. Nope: I was so hungry I went to the coop and bought lots of stuff, both good and maybe-sort-of-okay but-not-great. And I ate a lot of it.
The good news is that I simply stopped eating for the rest of the day. I wasn't hungry, and I decided I would actually tune into that.
Today: Making some lovely iced teas to have later in the afternoon when it gets a bit hotter.
