Crazy, Yoda Is

Friday, June 15, 2012

I was supposed to train with Yoda yesterday.

I didn't.

Something came up on his end and he asked if we could change and meet Saturday instead. When I asked what time, he gave me choices.

6, 8, or 10.

Is he out of his ever-loving mind??

6:00 in the morning on a SATURDAY?

Obviously, I picked 10:00.

I actually asked if we could just skip this week and make an appointment for next week.

He said no.

I guess I didn't expect him to say yes. He wants to talk about my diet so that we can win this bet and the longer I put it off, the less time I have to work on it.

The problem is that I have a friend coming in from out of town tonight. I planned it so that I could still go to Zumba tonight and then work out after she left tomorrow afternoon. Yoda kind of messed up my plans! I haven't seen this friend in almost a year, so we planned on going out and then staying up and talking/watching movies.

Actually, maybe I should've picked 6am. There's a chance that I'll still be awake then. ;)

Anyway, it shouldn't be a problem. My friend tends to sleep late, so she'll probably be asleep when I leave and asleep when I get back after training.

6AM is a bit early for a Saturday, unless you're already up. I probably would have gone to the 8am one. Hope you enjoyed your friend's visit.

No worries. I am sure your friend will be fine with you being away for an hour or two. She will understand why this is important to you, the good ones always do :)
