Little to no motivation right now!

Thursday, June 14, 2012

Okay so I've blamed it on my mole removal but I seriously have no motivation! Even after starting back without irritation or pain, I cannot seem to get excited about working out.

I'm a little worried honestly.

I am fighting the sloth. I just don't have the motivation to go workout at night (granted evening workouts are not my favorite, no matter what! I just prefer mornings) and while I am being very diligent with eating, I am concerned that too much of this will bring back the old me.

I realized today that I haven't taken my medications in over a week. Yes, I'll admit I feel incredibly stupid for not taking my synthroid or my nexium! I'm irritated with myself. I can be so thrilled for taking care of myself but then NOT take care of myself.

How does that work out?! So, back to the grind, I have to get better at taking my meds. I have set up a goal to take them and hopefully I'll remember to track them!! Maybe I'll find my motivation when my body is medicated properly lol!!!

OK, review your "Why I want to change" list -- any of those things NOT important anymore? Then you haven't lost motivation ... you're just giving in to temptation! and you know that God will provide a way of escape from temptations, so ask Him, look for his way, and Make the Choice to do what he says!

Don't worry about what you can't do with the wii -- just do it! C'mon, Kristin, you Can Do This!! We're pulling for you!

Don't you DARE think about "throwing in the towel"!!! You have two very special reason to take care of yourself. "JUST DO IT"! You can get back in the groove. Remember, this is for YOU, your husband, and those precious little boys. Get up! Get moving! Get grooving!

Oh yucky! Maybe if you found something fun to do that wasn't "exercise" you could trick your body into wanting more of it?.. Just a thought :D You will get back on it. I have faith in you! XO

start with 10 minutes....and good music. It seems like the more innapropriate, head banging rock and roll gets me to move more than the music a mom "should" be listening to...lol. Exercise is my rebellion time!

We all fall of the wagon from time to time. Me, I have to force myself to make time to workout at home. I have to do different activities during my week to keep me motivated. If you can, take a walk in the morning and take in a sunrise or an evening sunset. I do water aerobics and never on the same night week to week so I know I will get a different teacher and have a different routine. Sometimes if I buy new yoga pants, it inspires me to work out. Trick yourself into wanting to get up and do it.

I do need to add some new exercise options! I get bored very quickly. I do love being outside walking but haven't been able to with my 4 year old home from school these past three weeks. He goes back for extended school year next week so I hope I can get out walking again with my 2 year old.

I have always wanted to try zumba on the wii, but I 'm not terribly coordinated lol so I worry I won't be able to do it :D

I am at least keeping my eating to the low end of the calorie range! That's a plus lol!

Have you tried changing up your exercise? I know it can sound kind of crazy but I got hooked on doing Zumba at home - it is addictive and fun and it pulled me out of my funk.
