The fact is that I am doing a fine job maintaining my weight.
But not losing.
Boredom eating, emotional eating, and night-time eating are the problem.
I WANT to be in the 160s again!!

Time to focus on other ways to meet my needs for stimulation and soothing.

Stimulation: Very hot tea and/or very cold water.
Soothing: A break and a quick brisk walk.
Night-time: GO TO BED!!

    My go tos: Read. When I was younger I read coookbooks when I was dieting. I read everything but what inspires me sometimes is reading some "healthy" cookbooks. It feeds my tastebuds and I see that I can do it

    Recognizing that you are not losing and maintaining is a bonus. I was glad to see you wrote that. That, by itself, will take energy and focus. And we all need to give ourselves credit for that effort and accomplishment.

    I know we all want to lose, too. The fact that we can maintain makes losing less of a a leap.

    Keep maintaining. The weight loss will begin to appear.
    And don't forget to go to bed. Something I have to tell myself almost nightly. Otherwise it is snack time.
