So I had been expecting a call from my Dr's nurse, she normally calls to give me my lab results & then drops a copy of the report in the mail to me. So I was a little anxious since I hadn't heard, was afraid it was bad news. So I stopped by the post office to check our mail & saw on the top of the mail in our box a letter for me from my Dr's office. Could it be??? emoticon emoticon So I eagerly tore into the envelope wondering what my A1C results were, I really was anxious to see my glucose 3 month average, wondering if the weight loss had a positive impact. But then, I realized the A1C was listed among the numerous lab panels. emoticon So I guess I need to call the office tomorrow to see if by chance there was an error & the A1C just didn't get listed on the report or if the lab failed to run the A1C test.

But on a more positive note, I was in awe at my Lipid panel. All of my Lipid #s were good, except the HDL is still lower than it should be. My total cholesterol is 139. emoticon But the biggest change I saw was the Triglycerides which, last July were 428, but then by November had dropped to 354.......but now they are 192. emoticon emoticon emoticon My labs are proof positive of what eating correctly & working out consistently do for a body!!!!
