I came into work early this morning to attend a presentation from one of our vendors. (I work for a promotional products company) Of course they brought two dozen Dunkin Donuts with them. Because people who sit on their butts all day answering the phone really need additional sugar and calories! .
I have stayed away from them so far, I feel proud of myself. I packed a healthy lunch today and I ate some yogurt as a snack rather than going to the donuts. Another thing that helps is the last donut I had was after the 5K I ran last month, and it nearly made me puke. The glaze had been sitting out in the warm sun all morning and had taken on the consistency of spiderweb material. It stuck to the roof of my mouth and made me gag. If I make myself remember that sensation, the last thing I want is a donut.
I'm planning a healthy dinner tonight, and then my sweetie and I are going grocery shopping. I actually made a plan for dinners for the rest of the week, one from SparkRecipes and a couple from the SparkPeople cookbook. Donuts will only hold me back! I can DO this! Only 6 more pounds til my goal weight
