My Monday Motivation!

Monday, June 11, 2012

My work day was very hecked...I tried to get motivated to get through it, so I Sparked a little while I was at work to get some didn't work! So after I finally got off, I had to rush home change out of my scrubs and put on my career clothes..I work part- time as a wedding planner. I had two clients I had to meet with about their wedding, one lives in my town and the other one lives out of motivation was still low! I manage to get through the meetings with smiles, but still wasn't feeling it..So I figured once I got home, I would cook dinner, go for a walk and workout..then maybe I would be motivated(NOT)..It took me a while just to even move, I was stuck in this funk mood..I only got 1 mile in because Saturday I kinda hurt my as I made it back home, I sat on the trampoline(still lack of motivation and mad at this point) my wonderful kids where outside playing dodge ball(and they were really enjoying themselves)..this is a game I haven't seen or played in forever..I was so into it watching them, that I wanted to try, but I would have to wait until my ankle gets the time I got done watching them play, I was so siked about doing it! So then my MO- MO(motivation) kicked in..I couldn't do everything I normally do because of my ankle..but I did strength trained with my weights..It is so hard to stay motivated and I am trying my best not to give in or give up! Sorry for the RANT, but I had to tell someone!

Way to go!!! I'm sorry you're having problems with your ankle. I'm having some motivation difficulties right now, too, so I can feel ya on that.

Kids are great motivation. They're usually full of energy and they can find ways to make most anything fun.

Some days are like that, hon. I think the most admirable part of what you experienced, was that throughout the entire day, you kept focused on trying to get that motivation and persisted in doing so until you were able to get through your workout to the best of your ability.

So many people take any excuse not to workout. Your tenacity and mindfulness are admirable on all counts, and you ought to be very proud of yourself. I know that I'm impressed by your diligence.

Stay positive. Look for positive quotes or memes when you're online. Think of fun ways to workout and/or work up a sweat. And remember, it's fun to play with the kids... that counts as exercise, too. :)
