Birthday plan

Monday, June 11, 2012

My birthday is coming up and I want to plan so it doesn't turn into a free for all. Though I'll probably go with my maintenance calorie range and not my weightloss range. I'm like a little kid about my birthday, but I'll look for ways in addition to food that I can enjoy it.

I'm excited to finally see the Avengers, hopefully we can find it in 3D still. We put off seeing it because we didn't want to take the baby, and we didn't want to leave my daughter who babysits out of it. So she finally saw it Friday so we'll be free to go.

I think I will also focus on organizing photos. I would like to be able to put together a DVD for father's day anyway for the grandfathers, so that would be good. I think making memories a focus of holidays, rather than consumption, is the way to go.

What a great plan! I try so hard to be a grownup when it comes to holidays and birthdays. Maybe now that I'm moving into my "golden years" it's time to rethink that.

Best wishes to you for your birthday (and every other day)!
