The JoshMan turns 30 today, 5 years old tomorrow

Sunday, June 10, 2012

I keep teasing him today saying I'm a young girl in her 20's (I'm 29) married to an old man in his 30's and he does the little "Ugghhhh you" glare then sticks his tongue out at me.
It's weird to think that he and I have been best friends for 16 years now and still act the same as when we first became friends. Even my mom was saying "I think your own kids are older than you two."
And with us trying to eat better and getting out and exercising, it's like we just get younger and younger. He's lost 30 lbs now and even with that he's challenging me to races up stairs, jumping on the trampoline, and he was trying to climb the trees in Oregon because that's what trees are made for.
I think it's really funny that we became friends online in a chat room that no longer exists, him in Oklahoma, me in Arizona, and not meeting face to face till I was 18 and he was 19. It's like the odds really weren't set in our favor to meet up, but we were too perfect for each other for life not to put us together.
I love my old man with a 5 year olds heart.
