Challenge Day #3 - End of Week #1

I'm not sure if I'm right in my head some days emoticon
Knowing that today was another intense body weight strength day, I got up this morning and went hill running in the park. Actually, in my own defense, the original plan wasn't hill running, but the flat trails were closed due to a wellness 5k. Since I was already there, I just made the best of the situation.
Afterward, I kept trying to talk myself out of the strength work for today. After all, I factor in wiggle room and always accommodate changes in my workout schedule. But my body knew what it wanted, and that was to push the envelope just because. So I had an amazingly intense session and am so very proud of where I've finished week on of this challenge.
As expected, the push ups were a tad bit easier today than they were on Wednesday. The situps are finally where I thought they should have been on my test day, and the squats...well - I still love 'em and hate 'em, but that power in my legs makes it more fun to tackle those hills.
I workout hard and strong, but I don't have to workout long to get the results I'm after. Love learning extra lessons along the way...

Week #2 - bring it on!!!
