A Gold Star Week!

One of my systems for tracking and rewarding myself involves gold stars. Yep, just like in kindergarten. I have a little mini calendar with pictures of the beach on it hanging up in my studio. For every day that I work out, I put up a star.
First workout of the week: Red Star
Second: Blue Star
Third: Green Star
Fourth: Silver Star
Fifth: Gold Star!!
I start the week over every Sunday. Usually, immediately after finishing a workout, I put my little star on the calendar. Now I also go to the computer to log it. This week was exciting because I forgot to put a couple stars up and when I went to record yesterdays workout I realized it was a gold star week!! I had hardly even noticed that I worked out that much.
Of course, I have been pretty much entirely focused on fitness for the last 8 days. It has been eat, sleep, breathe goals. When I'm not working out, I'm on SP or reading about getting healthier. It will be interesting to see what happens when my attention starts to drift to other interests. Hopefully I can keep fitness at the top of my list. Gotta work for those gold stars after all!
