I’m lovin’ everything about the Simple Diet. It’s convenience. No counting calories. No portion control. Large selections of entries, fruits, vegetables and shakes. I love feeling in control of my diet for the first time in a long time. I love the success that I’m experiencing. I’m grateful for the new friends I have made in the past few months. I love getting rid of baggy clothes and getting a few new pieces.

So what’s my complaint? My period. My friend. My Aunt Flo. The visitor. That time of the month. I had two (dos, zwei, deux) periods in 2011 and they were more “spotting”. Now I’ve had two full fledged menstrual cycles since I’ve started TSD. Hummmmm. I don’t want to buy feminine products.

If you haven’t read any of the Spark articles – I can highly recommend “5 Ways to Love your Body!” I particularly like #4 – Change your inner dialogue. I believe that people react to the way that you “carry” yourself.

Thanks again for all the support. I’m feeling much better and the guilt is almost gone. One more day……..

    I agree with MissUs, Soy has a lot of estrogen so that could probably play a role with your TOM. I'm not a medical doctor but before that, when were you really eating Soy? My TOM has always been 2-3 days. Sometimes it's heavy while some months it is not. With age, our bodies change so take that into account as well ;)

    Mine has changed too, since start TSD. It only last 2-3 days, but I feel like I'm dying while it's here.

    I read your "Guilty" blog. Hope you are ok! Don't be too hard on yourself, either!
