Cardiac Rehab and Exercising

Started cardiac rehab last week. They are starting me out really slow and building me up. It all seemed really easy until Friday when they had me sit on this one machine and put my legs behind this bar with weights (only 2 lbs!) and lift it. I couldn't believe how hard it was! So, she only had me do 7 reps. I'm doing treadmill, stationary bike, and recumbent (not sure if that's what it's called) and lifting weights (3 lbs). I go Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Mondays, we have a class about heart health and on Wednesday, a class about nutrition. Fridays, only exercise. They suggested we walk on the days that we aren't there but I haven't got into that routine yet. I really need to. Today is pouring down rain so I'm glad that I'm going to rehab today. On the off days if it's raining then I should come up with an alternative like going to the mall and walking. I'll get there :)

    i had knee pain and went to therapy. not totally pain free but i am much more functional.
