Weekend Carb Binges

Ahhh, I'm such a dork. Seriously.

So, for the past four weeks, my food ingestion has been:

Monday to Friday afternoon: Eat really healthy. No sugar, no starch, little lactose. This is the way I want to eat.
Friday afternoon to Sunday night: Control on eating loosens... suddenly toasted marshmallows, cookies, ice-cream, and bacon appear on my plate! (Not to mention summertime mixed beverages in my cup.)

From Monday to about Wednesday I suffer through sugar withdrawals. I'm not a happy camper and my body is screaming at me for sugar. By Thursday I'm back to normal and then by about Friday night, I'm back on the carb train!

Sugar withdrawal sucks. And no, my body is NOT getting used to it.

It occured to me that if carbs were alcohol, I'd be a weekend alcoholic! Ugh. That can't be healthy.

Ok, no trailer this weekend. No partying either. Just laundry and housework and a trip to the arena and pool... let's see if I can get through a weekend at home without falling off the wagon!

    Gosh this sounds familiar. Weekends tend to be my downfall too. I'd appreciate any tips you have for staying on track through the weekend :)
