Woman's Church Retreat

Tuesday, June 05, 2012

I went to a retreat this weekend at my churches camp called Pinecliff and ate way too much food. Hopefully the little bit of hiking we did will prevent me from gaining too much weight. It was such good food. I thought I would post some pictures I took.

We couldn't hike up to this cross the trail still has ice and snow on it.

This is the bunkhouse me and my stepdaughter stayed in.

The outdoor chapel by the creek.

The creek.

The Chapel.

Me. My stepdaughter took this pic.

My stepdaughter took this pic too. She is studying visual arts to be a photographer.

She took this one too.

I had a really good time and it was sure beautiful there. The minister talked about how vast God is yet He wants an intimate love relationship with each of us. She was a very good speaker.

wow - this certainly takes me back to many summers of camp but we are definitely down here at sea level. I have been craving a mountain hike lately but DH is not up to that anymore. So glad the two of you had that experience together.
