I AM GOING BOWLING!!!!
Monday, June 04, 2012
Today when I got up I decided to pick up the bowling ball because my back did not hurt. It did not hurt and I throw it around Angel because she wanted to play and it didn't hurt. I was very happy and have been doing good all day. I ate breakfast and cleaned the kitchen. Then I went outside to walk and stopped and picked 2 handfuls of strawberries. I came in and got a knife and cut the asparagus so I did 2 things I had to bend and made out fine.
Later I ate lunch and went back out and walked again so I made 2 times for 20 minute walks each. I was in and out all day so had a lot of sun. I took slop to the compost and I have tomatoes plants growing there. I am going to transplant some in the garden and others by the woods. Today I am not going for 30,000 because I don't want to wear myself out. I did what I had too to get the back in line and back in shape. I will have over 20,000 because that is not hard for me to do anymore. I read one of the health articles about running being very healthy and having people live longer. When I walk it is not a leisure walk it is speed walking or fast. In 15 minutes I get almost 2 miles so I am moving. I wish I could run but my back going up and down is not good. Earlier in life if I had found Spark and had the time with my work schedule I may have started running but that was not then and this is now.
I keep myself healthy by walking, bowling, exercising and working in the garden and yard. A lot of work is out there now to do since I have been off for a week. The best part of it in a way is the asparagus and strawberries are pretty much done for now. The strawberries are blossoming again so it will be another month before they are on again. Just enough for me to get a handful for my cereal each day. I will have to start using the cherries for my cereal because they are just about ready. Now I can put my time in my flower garden for a couple days and then work on the weeds in the garden, cut grass and on and on. Slowly because I don't want to pull the back out again.
I will have to see how Callie does and if she is going to need some TLC for a day or two. She just isn't herself and even though she is not cut perfect I think she feels better. Wednesday they can take care of her and then I will know what I have to do.
We are getting enough rain so I haven't had to water and that makes it nice. I will get it all taken care of in time and after the 8th and weekend my DGD will only be here when her Mom comes out to help me or they want to swim.
I am going to make cole slaw, potato salad and deviled eggs tonight. So all have a great Tuesday and some fun. God bless you always with his kindness.
Catch you tomorrow and see how I bowl.
