New day.. .thank GAWD!

My girlfriend and I went away for the weekend and we let our hair down...... we also let ourselves down. It was a Wheat and Sugar fest and it resulted in stomach upset, constipation and bloating.. not nice.

So, we're detoxing this week with lots of water, green food and NO SUGAR or WHEAT.

    I'm in the same boat. In the last week, it's been Memorial Day, my husband's birthday, my son's birthday, my anniversary and a whole lot of stress. Thus, I just ate what I wanted and let it all hang out. I feel wrecked and just started a ten-day clean-eating detox (like you!) to really force myself to not slip for ten days so that I can remember how good it feels to eat clean.

    You can TOTALLY get back on the wagon. Once you make it through day 3, you'll remember why you strive to eat that way in the first place. (At least that's the way it is for me!)

    Hi, Vibeke! As long as you get back on track your "slip" won't matter too much. It only matters when we say to ourselves "well, I screwed up already so a little more won't hurt" Best of luck getting back on the horse.
