Let's call this day 1. Again.

I had my first 'day 1' when I got serious about losing weight, back in Feb. 2011. I logged in nearly everyday that year and numbered my blogs. When I hit my one year anniversary, I was feeling a little stuck so I started the counter again at day 1. I made it 116 days into this second year I have gained and lost the same 5 pounds.
So I'm finding my way back to this site, and back to a healthy lifestyle. Again. So this is day 1 again. I'll have as many day 1's as I need to keep me trying. It's when I've given up that I know I've lost.
Taking care of myself isn't that hard, it's not even that unpleasant, but it takes effort... and I find it hard to keep myself on the list of things to take care of. And I don't have kids!! I don't know how you mothers do it.
So this morning I started with 80 minutes on the elliptical (5 miles), a fresh made juice (kale, grapefruit, grapes, and cuc.) and I logged in to Spark to check on my friends and chart my progress.
I'm going to try to find some time tonight to do a little yoga and lift some light weights to strengthen my shoulder. My husband are on a salad kick for dinner, so I just need to find a healthy lunch and snacks and I'm all set! Oh, and coffee... next step coffee.
Here's to renewed effort and never giving up on yourself.
