Sometimes you just gotta say yes. I took this great yoga class call "Yoga Muse".
Less than a week ago I was e-mail a June calender from this yoga studio that I tried some class and even a service just never the yoga. I love yoga but I am use to the water down version at my gym. Do not misunderstand me, the gym yoga classes are wonderful. The DVD's are fine too. But most studios are not like any other gym class. Their form of art/workouts (kickboxing, Zumba, Crossfit) more in-dept. In short, too nervous to take a class right now. But I did scan the the newsletter. Again not ready so I deleted it.
Well, on Friday I took this very long brisk nature walk with my friend. We talked about everything from the start of the walk to the end of lunch. We than did a half hour of yoga (mention in last blog). It was then where my friend suggested I take, "Yoga Muse" with her. She is a member of this yoga studio, in fact she is the one who introduced me to the studio. I thought about it. But I had a crazy weekend coming up and was not sure about having the time to spare (or money).
After a crazy full Friday night and a hectic Saturday morning, afternoon, evening and night we did it we accomplished as we needed to do by Monday. We even went to 5:30pm Mass on Saturday. Both kids had play dates too. So, having the morning open to garden a little and get the pool ready that left the late afternoon clear. DH more than happy to finish the garden with Sylvia, who I pick up from play date around 2:15pm. Father and daughter can work together. They love their time together.
Since I called earlier hoping for a opening to the "Yoga Muse" class. And yes there was still a few openings. I think they squeezed me in because there was just enough room for me! LOL
It was different than the yoga class from my gym. I really like it. The class was 3 hours long. It was not cheap but it was a little over an hour of
yoga then we were suppose to tap in our creative side for the remaining 2 hours. So, the remainder of the class we all received a canvas and paint, brushes and other art supplies. I Loved it. I came home refreshed, relaxed and a canvas painting I made on my own. Yes, it is silly looking but my children loved it. And even Michael said we need to frame it. No mention of hanging it up though! Tee Hee!
I had deleted the e-mail. When my friend suggested the class I almost said no, I said maybe with a bunch of excuses why I may not be able to attend. However, the entire universe was going my way during my crazy busy weekend of sports, errands and chores. I believe I was suppose to say yes to the new experience!
Sometimes you just gotta say YES!
