Well, I'm once again doing what I said I wouldn't do, and making a goal to lose weight. I've been telling myself that I need to just be satisfied maintaining, but I'm in the upper-level of my maintenance range and my arms feel jiggly and my thighs are... well, you know how it goes. So I'm on here to commit to what I'm going to do.

1.) See how I do the number, then the period, then the parenthesis? I learned that from my boyfriend. He's great at making lists and that's how he does it. I thought you had to do either the period or the parenthesis, but I think it looks pretty cool with both!

2.) Continuing to do what I do well - work out every day. The one thing I will add are crunches at the end. I used to do 100 per day and I'm going to start that again.

3.) Track what I eat BEFORE I eat it. I have tomorrow's food all mapped out. This will also mean that I will be better prepared for the nightly dinner that I have to make and that will keep the household a little better organized.

4.) Measure. This will keep what I track honest and accurate. And I know it will result in me actually eating less.

That's it. That's my big plan. Eat right and exercise. It's a revolution! No one has ever heard of such a thing before!!!

Anywhatever, I go to work at 5am every morning. I'm starving when I get home. So my plan is to eat a small breakfast, small lunch, small snack when I get home, fair dinner, and a small evening snack. That should keep me from starving.

My goal is to lose 8 pounds in 1 month!

The other thing I did is purely for my mental health. It has nothing to do with losing weight and everything to do with keeping my sanity. I have a chore chart for the kids - four areas of the house need to be cleaned and the kids rotate through them. I printed out a second chart for upstairs so nobody has to go downstairs to look at it. I also made a list of exactly what needs to be done to result in the room actually being CLEAN. I also told them that, during the summer, everyone will have an extra chore for the day, for example, mopping the kitchen, dusting the furniture, organizing the shoe basket, cleaning the walls, etc. And DANG IT ALL I WILL MAKE SURE THEY DO IT. I will NOT be losing my mind this summer.

Wish me luck on that endeavor. I plan on being wildly successful with both of my goals!
