First Weekend Report

Weekends are always hard for me. I don't have my routine to fall back on, brunch is my favorite meal, the Mister is not active so when I spend time with him, it's usually very low key, and let's face it, I feel entitled to slack off because it's the weekend and I worked hard all week!
Guess what though? There are five weekends in June. If I took ten days off to slack (plus a few Fridays) I would certainly not make any of my goals this month! I did take Saturday off because I slept in and then went scrap booking with a dear friend for... 8 hours! I couldn't believe we made it that time but I did finish a big project from December so I'm pretty dang happy about it. And instead of our usual Wendy's run, we ate chips and salsa for dinner.
Today was a mix of win and fail. At dinner, the Mister suggested we split a chili relleno. I love these so of course I agreed. Most of the way through my half, I remembered that I had given up deep fried food for the month. I immediately stopped. After dinner, I went on a Couch to 5K run without the dog and ran faster and therefore farther than usual (win!). I also went to the grocery store and made some healthy choices.
Overall, I'm going to count this weekend successful. Tomorrow I have plans to hit up boot camp class with E and I already have all of my healthy meals planned.
