Off to a good start

I want to first of all say hello and thanks to my new SparkFriends! I am really excited to get to know you all.
Today was good, but it almost didn't go that way. I drove to work and traffic getting home was worse than usual. It was warm in my car and all this started to make me feel lazy. The Mister was home when I got home and talking about making dinner right away. I thought maybe I would workout after dinner then. But we all know how likely that is! For me, anyway, it's very hard to go work out after dinner. I was sitting on the couch being lazy when for just one minute I got the inspiration and energy to put on my gym clothes and with all possible speed I grabbed the leash for the dog and high tailed it out for a run. Inspiration like that doesn't usually last long! I had a good run using a Couch to 5K program, all of my running intervals were about 8:30 pace (usually I'm anywhere from a 9-11 on 90 second intervals). I was pretty happy. Then the Mister grilled us up some healthy pork chops and a side spinach salad. Plus I drank more than 8 glasses of water today (and tracked it). Let's see if I can keep this up for all of the month!!

    Way to go!!! I love it when that happens -- "no.. i'm already on the couch... but... wait look i'm standing! i'm going for my gym clothes! laziness conquered!!!"

    Hope you have a good weekend! it's rainy and gross here in boston, but i banged out my 10 minute 28-day bootcamp video already, so that's ok :-)
