Holy Cow, it's June!

Well for the last 10 weeks, I trained for and completed my first half marathon. I seemed more tired on race day than I have before. It was fun, and very challenging but I am happy that I can complete 13 miles!

I may be a little crazy, but I signed up for another one in August. It's trail running mostly and a 800 foot elevation gain. No big deal, right? :-)

So since Sunday (5/27), I have been very loose with my diet and exercise. I told myself I would indulge a few days since my birthday was also coming up. I did indulge, and went all the way to today. My weight has ballooned up, but I am thinking it's bloated from the extra salt and water intake.

Now that we are in June, I have decided to start a-new to get back into my training mode for my next race. I lost 20 lbs training, hopefully I can loose as much (maybe a bit more) for this second one. I have set new goals for myself and ready to get back in the saddle.

    Wow! I was thrilled when I did my first 5K. Not going to happen again soon but I still am enjoy seeing how other people challenge themselves. Nice to meet you, Justyna from the yellow BL team
