Celebrating the Queen at Work

Thursday, May 31, 2012

Today at school we had a special celebration day for the Diamond Jubilee and it was fantastic! Even today's rain didn't dampen our spirit. When we were blowing up balloons and everything I was even more excited about the jubilee.

A colleague had made a cake, 90cm x 60cm and amazing

I was pleased that I managed to only succumb to a small piece but lots of strawberries and blueberries.

I dressed up in red, white and blue too and think I look pretty good right now, things could be a lot worse, hope I can keep it all together.

Hope I can avoid the cake in the staff room tomorrow and then we have half term so that will be great, can be a tempting time but looking forward to continuing sorting out my bedroom (moving everything) before the decorating starts in there next week.

Hope all my other Spark Friends are having a good time.

Looks like you had a great time - I love your headband!! And your shirt!
We are not doing anything at my school (joys of working in a comp) but my kids' school are having a Jubilee picnic today. Hopefully the rain will hold off for them. Hope you have a great half term emoticon emoticon
