Gratitude List for May 2012

~Had a nice visit with Jimmy's sister.

~Rearranged all the furniture in my bedroom giving it a fresh feel.

~Printed a test invitation for the devotion ceremony (I finally figured out how to adjust the page size)

~My union steward is working on a problem that arouse at work.
~Finally finished painting oma's house.

~Jimmy put in the air conditioner.

~Got a new air conditioner from Jim's sister because she got central cooling.

~Got a new electric dryer (for downstairs apartment) from Jim's sister because it didn't fit down the basement steps at her new house.

~Stayed on my diet despite candle party and oma's special lunch :)
~Took up the rug and found a beautiful oak floor in almost prestine condition... a light sand and seal and it will be perfect!

~Working hard with Jimmy to restore the floor.

~That I have such a motivated and skilled boyfriend.

~B-Day party at Dad's house.

~New beginnings.
~My "Humiliation Motivation" "before" post on facebook motivated me to clean up my kitchen counter. The "after" picture got rave revues!

~A nice day all to myself.

~Nutrition consultation confirmed my own knowledge base... now it's just a matter of implementing it.
~After conferring with my family I decided to forestall a meeting with Mr. Grey.

~Elaborate Devotion Ceremony invitations fulfill my hopes perfectly.

~Nice outing with Oma for my birthday.
~A great night at work.

~Now that I have time to myself (the semester is finally over) I started a long awaited project.

~Talked with Jimmy about an important issue... and I've gotten a new perspective on the Mr. Grey hangup.

~Keeping my health a priority.
~My sister's belly dancing routine was sublimely beautiful.

~Joelle came over to visit (First time in a year!).

~Had a nice brunch with the girls (Plus Baby Max!).
~Got some nice shirts from the goodwill.

~Jimmy got to meet Bob.

~Creating a new (more professional) e-mail address turned out to be a snap.

~Joe made it in safely.
~Book was available at the college library.

~Smell of the fresh air after the rain wafting over the newly cut lawn.

~My professor (the current Dean of the History Dept.) recommended I submit one of my pieces (one that I wouldn't even consider my best work) for an award.
~I was able to eat sensibly despite going to the chinese buffet. Roger treated us!

~was able to view the rising moon through Roger's high end binoculars... spectacular.

~the police officer who stopped us at the Central terminal let us continue what we were doing without any hassel.

~St. Ann's hosted a mass in the shadow of the church.

~My sister made it back safely from Boston MA.
~Texting back and forth with my brother about nutrition and diet.

~I lost 6lbs.

~George from Response to Love Center got me a sweet gift. He said that a story I told him about a nun from my childhood touched him and he wanted to thank me.

~Work flew by and went well (everything but the floor was done when I left the closer in charge)

~Steve gave me some really nice feedback on a piece I wrote.

~Mama (our outside kitty) got her advantage application.
~My mom got three beautiful pieces of furniture for $250 off Craigslist.

~Jimmy and I were able to race over and get the furniture on short notice (it was whoever shows up first gets to take it)

~Joelle called us.

~Well started on my 20 page paper.
~Jimmy's preservation meeting went well.

~Found a great new cookbook: Rose Elliot's Low Carb Vegetarian Recipes.

~All the bills are paid.

~Jimmy working on the floor in the attic (he carried 6 sheets of plywood up a latter onto secondary roof and through porch door!)
~An unexpected word of encouragement from a friend... Steve complemented me on a letter I wrote to Mr. Grey.

~Meeting with trainer got me back in the groove at the Buffalo Athletic Club.

~Jimmy worked on the electric at 24... he wants it online by next fall.
