Blog (it's about as exciting as this title)

I haven't felt much like blogging lately. I don't really have anything interesting to say. :-( But here's an update anyway.

Life is good. DH is awesome. DS1 is 3 days from being a SENIOR in HS. I don't know where the time went. I'm so proud of the man he's becoming. He got a full time job over the summer in the trade he's learning in school. He's looking forward to earning a butt-load of money & buying a car. lol. DS2 is sweet. He drives me crazy - never stops talking. We're going to have a lonely summer. I need to figure out some special things to do with him. He'll be the big fish in the elementary school next year - 6th grade!

I started a new job at work which has been a bit of an emotional roller coaster. I made the move because it's more hours (aka more money) and it's closer to home. I don't do change well. Not only is this a change in my job description, but also in the building & people too. It's like starting over & the job itself is a little more stressful. It's high intensity & demands your full attention but I like it & so far it's gone very well. I get to try the job for 10 days & decide if I want to keep it or go back to my old job. Unfortunately, I started when there were only 7 days of school left. I have to put in 3 days next school year before it permanently becomes mine.

That's about all that's new in my world. Nothing is new in the realm of diet & exercise. I'm STUCK. I've been holding at the same weight for 2 1/2 months. I'm hoping that this summer I can kick up the cardio & I'll have more time for healthy cooking. I'd like to lose another 14 pounds when it's all said & done. One exciting thing is that I can use the gym equipment at the new building I'm working at. That would be helpful considering I start earlier & it's cutting into my normal exercise time & it's too hot in the afternoons. Maybe I should put my mind to losing 14 pounds over summer & then I could work out at the gym after work to maintain. ??? Yeah, lemme wrap my brain around that.

    Plateaus happen just stick with it and soon you will be losing again.
