Day 15 of 30

Tuesday, May 29, 2012

Yipee! I'm half way through my 30 days of blog! What a day I had at work on Sunday: The moral of the story is: Trust your instincts!

I came onto shift and got report on our lockdown unit. I noticed that the french doors were propped open off of the tv lounge. Some of the aides had taken some patients in wheelchairs outside for activity. I thought to myself those doors should not be open, because we do have patients that can and will escape. The full time dayturn nurse was there and didn't seem to care. I thought maybe it's OK, she must know what she's doing (she's worked that floor for years). Of course, soon one of the aides comes running that one of the patients slipped out the doors and was refusing to come back inside. Needless to say we had to put him in a wheelchair while I tipped it back and walked backwards around the building while dragging it with him in it!! Oh my goodness I was so scared! One quick question: How do I log that little workout on my sparkpage fitness log!!

Trust your instincts girlie! Speak your mind!

    Most definitely trust those instincts!
If you figure out how to log that workout let me know, 'cause I'd l like to figure out how to log building Ikea furniture and answering the front door over( it was windy and housemate/neighbor kept getting locked out) and over from 3 storeys up ...
