Look! I bounce!

Tuesday, May 29, 2012

After my overly excited blog last week about my LOVE for LiveFit...I fell off the wagon emoticon
It wasn't intentional but I had a lot going on at home with family and with very little sleep I just didn't have it in me to get up at 5:15am and go to the Y.
I missed my day 33, 34 (35 was a rest day but I ran 3 slow hot miles) and 36.
I was so bummed about being so far behind! I toyed with the idea of skipping those days and starting today which was day 37 but I decided to bounce back up and get to the Y early and get as much done as I could. I completed day 33 and day 36 and hope to complete days 35 and 37 tomorrow, or maybe I will do legs (day 35) when I get home. I thought today was Monday after being off yesterday so I was thinking I was somewhat back on track but realized I am behind more that I thought!
MAN! It is so hard to try and catch back up after sliding! I probably didn't eat the best on Friday but the rest of my food choices were better.

I am going to try and pick up my marathon training plan this week as well. It may be too much but I need to train properly for the races I have in the fall.
I cut WAY back on my schedule so the races I end up doing need to seriously count!! After last season's marathon flops, I need to hit a big PR this fall!

On a different note, I am also changing my hair color(s)! I need a change. I have been getting the same highlights for years now! OH!!! And get this! My DH JUST told me that he didn't like my hair short...Um....It was short for almost 4 YEARS! LOL!

Anyway...That's all for now folks!

Happy Mon-Tuesday

I am starting to change from "catching up" to just making it a new day. Releases some of the anxiety. Good job doubling up. That is tough!

All the best with the marathon training. Have to do it. The weights can be added in when you can do it:)

LOL on the hair. Men sometimes. Have to laugh...the boyfriend hates pedal pushers, capris...anything between shorts and regular pants. Think he believes they are pants that can't make up their mind! Wore them all weekend and he kept making cracks. Finally said..."I get it!!! Leave me alone cause I'm wearing em":)

Great job not giving up and just going with what works for you! Personally I just think you look fab...short hair or not! :) BTW - DH told me the same thing, after I grew my hair out and suggested cutting it again! D'oh!

During my first go around with LiveFit I had to go back and restart Phase 3. Life just got crazy so I just rebooted. There's no shame in doing that. Just remember to listen to your body and don't overdo it while trying to catch up. I think participating in marathon training AND the LiveFit workouts is VERY ambitious. Get plenty of rest and be careful not to overtrain. emoticon

It's really hard to stick with something day in and day out. It gets boring and let's face it - between work and family, sometimes it's nice to have some unscheduled time. The good thing is that you usually do miss the structure and then it's easy to get right back on the wagon!

    Post pics of your hair!

Oh, my, I thought TWO days behind was bad! I thought about skipping Day 29 and starting with 30, but I knew I would be more upset about missing a day. You know about the eyeliner, but now I am having difficulty lifting my water jug! Still feeling the burn 6 hours after my work out! I start Marathon Training next week. Good thing I have Laurie to keep me going! I am actually relieved to be in Phase 2 now so I dont feel so gulity about my cardio cuz now its 'allowed'.
