Busy, Busy, Busy!

Tuesday, May 29, 2012

That pretty much sums up the last few weeks. Let's see... details... Well, camping trip where our campsite got attacked by racoons (For real), the Man has been busy interviewing for a new job, birthdays for 2 family members, busting my butt at work, still training for my Jan. Marathon, and trying to keep up with life in general.

Other than that... Well, things are just peachy! :)

The marathon training has been going smashingly well. I am so excited already - and, yes, I know I am a full 8 months out. I don't care. I've been hyped for 2 months and I'm gonna be hyped for the next 8. I CAN'T WAIT.

If anyone's interested in what I'm running and why, here's the link:

Last night my sweet brother and my whole fam came over for my father's birthday. Josh had to let me know he went for a good, hard walk in his outdoor walker and logged some mileage of his own for Team Josh. That really just lit a fire under me for this coming week of runs.

I've been completing my rehab for the bum shoulder, which is about a million times stronger now! And I'm thinking next week I get to be totally released! :) My eating has been a LOT better lately, even though the scale has been pretty much stuck at 114. OH! And I got new running shoes which happen to be bright enough to just about glow-in-the-dark! YESSSS!!!

So, all in all... I guess things are good. Now if I just had time to Spark a little more...

That all sounds like good fun busy-ness! You are going to be SO ready for the marathon! Good on you! Watch out everyone! Here you come . . . . With your stunning she's and boundless enthusiasm!
I visited your Team Josh page, and was very interested to read about the fund raising. I don't really know anything about AT, but it sounds very challenging. Your brother, you and all your family sound wonderfully motivated, supportive and ready to take on anything! I wish you all very well. Hopefully my donation from down-under has hit the books? I did have to put in a bogus suburb and town as it didn't seem to know about NZ!
Pace yourself and don't wear out those shoes tooooo soon!
